Today, the Foundation is actively engaged in key issues affecting the golf industry: biodiversity conservation, sustainable water management, research and innovation, and staff training and education — including in collaboration with scientists from the National Museum of Natural History in Paris.
The Club and its Foundation focus their efforts around the following pillars:
Sharing knowledge and initiatives with local and national organizations, public authorities, institutional partners, and companies committed to major environmental challenges and the future of our planet;
Providing educational outreach to local schools;
Raising awareness among members and staff about the importance of preserving local biodiversity, managing water resources responsibly, and understanding wildfire risks;
Studying, cataloguing, and protecting the exceptional habitats found across the property’s 800+ hectares.
These initiatives contribute to the development of scientific methodologies and tools, positioning Vidauban as a pioneer in sustainable management and best practices for ensuring the serenity and long-term preservation of this remarkable estate.
